The color is closer to silver than gray. Also, although I expected this from the photos, the metal fittings are quite cheap. They're thin and unstable, and they bent the first time I put them on and took them off. Given the reasonable price, I think they're a good product for everyday use.

Some natural grays are so pale that you can't tell they're gray unless you put them next to white, but this one is a deep, dark gray. That's my preference.
